In terms of titles and honors, it doesn’t get much more impressive than being the “Fastest Man/Woman in the World.” The Jamaican tandem of Usain Bolt, men’s 2008 and 2012 100m Olympic Champion, and Shelly Ann Fraser-Pryce, women’s 2008 and 2012 Olympic Champion, have defended and successfully held their titles as “the fastest on the planet” for the past four years.
We talked to Fraser-Pryce on The Runaround during her recent tour of the U.S. Though she was in the States representing the American Friends of Jamaica, Inc., she took the time to talk to us about her Olympic successes, her tour of the U.S., growing up in poverty, and the future of her career.
Check out our interview with the “Fastest Woman in the World” at about 3 minutes into the replay of Monday’s show.
Also, Mark Johnson and Dan Suher of Saucony joined us to talk about the “Find Your Strong” campaign, the latest shoes from Saucony, and “Saucony Saturday” at Holabird Sports this Saturday, Sept. 29 form 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Hear our conversation with our friends from Saucony at about 21:00 into Monday’s show.
